is that everyone deserves a haven where you can escape the daily grind, mingle with locals, and treat yourself to top-notch treats and coffee.

One14 Coffee Co. is a small business founded by two Penticton women, joined later by a third, who had an aim to create a space that combines the warmth of a local neighborhood stop with genuine connections and a sense of escapism from daily life.

With a strong focus on a unique ambiance, joy, high-quality food and beverages, and attentive service, One14 Coffee Co. was created to provide a gathering place for locals and tourists to socialize, unwind, dine, sip, and savor.

Located in a charming, historic building in midtown Penticton, the café offers an unexpected experience being off the beaten track and offering freshly baked goods daily, a dog-friendly area, and the town's finest coffee.

Environmentally friendly

We aim to limit our environmental footprint as much as we can, and plan to implement more environmental friendly protocols as we go. Here are some of the ways we are proud to be making a difference:

  • Compost program alongside Tin Whistle Brewery & Grist Bakery

  • Using ethically sourced coffee beans from a zero emissions coffee roaster (click here more about our incredible beans and precise extraction method to bring you the best coffee in Penticton)

  • Our popular plastic-less, at home recyclable and at home compostable take out cups.

Support Local

We strive to support local as much as we can, click here to view some of the wonderful business we are lucky to have at the café. Added bonus to a local goal? Avoiding emissions on lengthy shipping whenever possible.

Artisanal

The fresh baked goods, breakfast and lunch items are lovingly hand crafted in-house for optimal freshness and with an exciting, somewhat alternating menu. We love to try quirky new items as well as stick to the well loved favourites. Having a baker in the café daily not only promotes quality and freshness, but also contributes to our goal of less waste.

Before the birth of One14 Coffee Co., Katie and Laura, superhero moms to two little wonders, kicked off an event venture named Ellie Wylde Design Co. Their headquarters? The sorta happening Cannery Trade Centre in midtown Penticton. As they soaked up the vibes of the place, a lightbulb moment struck. While crafting dreamy event & interior spaces was their jam, they had a longing to create a permanent spot that would bring joy over Penticton locals on a more permanent basis.

Cue the grand plan to assist in the revival of the Cannery building and make it a hub for families and businesses alike. With paint brushes and blueprints in hand, the team welcomed Sharon and her daughter, Madison, to the ownership crew, adding extra sparkle and hard workers to their oasis dream. The rest? Well, it's history in the making!

Supporting local gems is what really gets the One14 team hearts beating, which led them to find ways to offer a part of their space to other local entrepreneurs to create within the cafe’s walls. This started with the fantastic Grist Bakery, who brought her own kitchen to life on a more permanent basis, whipping up their delicious treats. Then the team opened up the café’s kitchen as a commissary shared space to be rented hourly by businesses who benefit from that model. This includes the likes of Madame Fromage, Everything Bagel Co., Hey Lolly, and more.

We can’t wait to continue to find ways to uplift this community in small ways, and us and our families can’t thank you enough for the support so far, Penticton!
